Charles A. Caminiti, age 94, of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on July 16, 2014.
Born in Philadelphia to the late Mary (nee Brancato) and Joseph Caminiti, Charles served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. After leaving the military, Charles worked as a barber.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Nicoletta M. (nee Sardo) Caminiti, his children Anne Hall, Ron Caminiti, Chris (Anne) Caminiti, Bruce (Gigi) Caminiti and Nancy Piacentini, his grandchildren Leo Caminiti, Cindy Caminiti, Annette Letterie, Vincent Caminiti, Nikos Caminiti, Alessa Caminiti, Justine Caminiti, Chelsea Caminiti, Alexia Caminiti, and Laura Piacentini, his great grandchildren Emily Donovan, Walter Donovan and Ryan Letterie. Charles is also survived by his siblings Catherine Branella (the late Mike), Jeanette Millman (the late Wally) and Joe Caminiti. Charles was pre-deceased by his son Jeffrey Caminiti (Denise), his siblings Sophia Caminiti, Lucy (Frank) and Tom Caminiti (June).
Services and Interment are private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to The American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 would be appreciated.
