Charles Carr

Charles L. "Chick" Carr, age 82, of Havertown, PA, passed away on May 28, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Ethel V. Carr (nee Giles). He was a 1950 graduate of West Catholic Boys High School in Philadelphia. Chick served in the United States during the Korean War. He was employed as a Communications Technician for AT&T.



He was the beloved husband of Patricia M. Carr (nee Copley). Dear father of Rita Hamrick (John) and Charles Carr (Reva). Also survived by his 6 grandchildren Amanda, CJ, Vinny, Lyndsey, Nicholas and Rebecca and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Father Raymond Carr and Eddie Carr.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday 9:30-10:50 AM Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Marist Center, 4308 8th Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20017 would be appreciated.
