Charles B. Corrigan, age 86, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on December 17, 2017.
Born in Philadelhia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Sarah (nee McCann) Corrigan. Charles graduated from Overbrook High School and was employed as a machinist with MilPrint, Inc. in Downingtown, PA. Charles was an avid Eagles fan, delighted in Ireland and enjoyed the casinos.
Charles was the cherished husband of the late Elizabeth D. (nee Fitzgerald) Corrigan. He was the loving father of Elizabeth Tortorelli (Robert), Geraldine Tedesco (Tom), Charlene Freeman (Mike), and the late Theresa Trombetti (George), the proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Charles was the dear brother of Bernard, Gerald and Maureen Corrigan, and Sarah Dunne. Charles was the beloved friend of Ginny Teaford. He was predeceased in death by his brother Douglas Corrigan and his grandson, Nicholas Trombetti.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Friday evening, December 22, 2017, 6 - 8 PM and on Saturday morning, December 23, 2017, 9 - 10 AM, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by his Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Manoa & Shelbourne Roads, Havertown, PA 19083, 610-449-3000. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
