Charles F. Dickinson, 92, of Stevens, PA, formerly of Downingtown, PA, passed away February 28, 2019.
Born October 6, 1926 in Valley Township, PA, he was a son of the late Fred F. and Marie (nee Harple) Dickinson.
Charles served honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific. He was employed as a welder for Downingtown Iron Works for several years and also worked for the Downingtown Area School District for many years. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Williamson Masonic Lodge, Downingtown.
He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret J. (nee Walker); loving father of Margaret Anderson, Ruth Ann Murdaugh (Thomas), and Terri Ross (David); adoring grandfather of Christopher, Charity, John, Gwen, Cinda, Eric, Samantha, and Matthew; and cherished great-grandfather of Britni, Mark, Zachery, John, Danielle, and MacKenzie. He is also survived by his cat, Momma. He was predeceased by his son, Paul J. Dickinson, and his sister, Jane Daugs.
