Charles S. Dunn

Charles S. Dunn, age 85, of East Lansdowne, PA, passed away on March 24, 2022.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Myrtle Dunn (nee Huffnagle).

Charles was a graduate of Dobbins Technical School in Philadelphia.

Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean War era.  He had been employed as a Switchman for Bell Telephone/Verizon for over 50 years.

Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maria P. Dunn “Polly” (nee Walsh).   He is survived by his loving children Chuck Dunn (Nancy), Maria Hollis (Joe), Steven Dunn (Cassie), Douglas Dunn, Matthew Dunn and Erin Dunn (Brian Mengini).  Dear grandfather of Rebecca, Abby, Sarah, Christopher, Julia, Emma, Matthew, and Finton and great-grandfather of Eliana.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Thursday, March 31, 2022 10:00-11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
