Charles Miller

Charles Francis “Charlie” Miller, age 70, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021.

Born in Sayre, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Nancy (nee Kennedy) Miller.

Charlie was a partner of a family owned business, Taylor Rental, located in Newtown Square.  He was very involved in the local community, and was President for 11 years of the Marple Newtown Non-Instructional Employees Association, where he was a bus driver.  He also was President of the Newtown Square Petticoat League and coached numerous sports. Charlie was an avid golfer as well as a big Eagles and Phillies fan.  He also enjoyed fishing, especially with his grandchildren, and being outdoors with nature.

Charlie was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Morley); the loving father of Melissa A. Ihlenfeld, Eileen Chapin (the late Peter) and Megan L. Miller; the proud grandfather Brooke, Sean and Will.  He was the dear brother of Patricia Park (Leon), Barbara Hugo (James) and Edward Miller (Rose), and was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Farr (the late John Farr). Also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday evening, June 22, 2021, 6:00 – 9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, and on Wednesday morning, at 9:00 – 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 Am.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
