Charles E. Mullen

Surrounded by family, Charles E. Mullen peacefully passed away on September 4, 2024 at the age of 65, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Beloved son of the late Charles E. and Mary F. (Kolb) Mullen.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Patricia A. (nee Marron) Mullen; Children, Michael C. Mullen (Kaitlyn), Brian Mullen (Laura), Jaclyn M. Mullen (Michael), and Kelly A. Spaeder (George); Siblings, Mary Eileen Mullen, Barbara Theis, Patrice Wiseley (Edward), and Gregory M. Mullen; Grandchildren, Madyson, Ava, Michael, and Nora. Charles is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Charles met his beloved wife, Pat, at the age of 14, and together they built a beautiful life. His remarkable work ethic led him to establish a successful consulting business which provided a stable foundation for his family. He was a man of many talents, including playing the guitar, drawing, and being exceptionally handy. Even while working full-time and raising four children, he pursued his personal goal of earning an associate’s degree.

Charles's career success afforded him the opportunity to travel the world, and he loved sharing those experiences with family and friends. He loved spending his summers in OCNJ with his family. He cherished all of the quality time he spent with his children and four grandchildren.

He is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
