Charles L. Pearson, III, 78, of West Chester, passed away on May 24, 2016.
Born in Ridley Park, PA in 1937, Charles was the son of the late Charles L. and Ida (Swinamer) Pearson, Jr.
He was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Military College and served honorably in the US Army. Charles was a Master Electrician and worked at Sun Ship for 10 years and Boeing in Ridley Park for 30 years until his retirement. He was a collector of Thunderbird cars and was considered a nature enthusiast by his family and friends. Charles enjoyed boating and travelling with his wife.
He was the loving husband of the late Kathleen A. Pearson; the loving father of Charles Pearson, IV (Sandra), Daniel Pearson, and Gregory Pearson (Cassie); and dear grandfather of Lisa, Kevin, Austin, Gregory, II, Julie, and Hunter.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
