Charles Rae

Charles M. “Don” Rae, 73, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on April 7, 2020.

Born in Darby, PA in 1946, Charlie was the son of the late James and Catherine (nee Woods) Rae. He served honorably in the US Air National Guard. Charlie graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School, then earned his Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University, and later earned his Master’s degree from Penn State University. He spent 32 years with Bell of Pennsylvania, and 10 years as an IT Specialist for Siemens Medical, Malvern, PA.  Charlie was happiest spending time with his family and friends both in the United States and Ireland.

Charlie was the beloved husband of Carol D. (nee Martin) Rae; loving father of the late Heather Rae and Timothy Rae (Orla); caring grandfather of Tara, Aoibhín, and Neasa; predeceased by his brothers, James T. Rae (Carole) and Joseph G. Rae (Carol), and missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services and interment are private.  A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
