Charles Slomeana, Sr.

Charles Slomeana, Sr., age 92 of Broomall, PA passed away on October 2, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the dear son of Albert and Mary (nee Hentsel) Slomiana. Charles served his country honorably in World War II in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Drexel University, worked for the Ford Motor Company, and then in 1991 up to his retirement, was employed with the Federal Government as a Mechanical Engineer at the U.S. Naval Yard.
Charles was the beloved husband of Mary A. Slomeana (nee Mathews). He was the loving father of Charles J. Slomeana, Jr., (Thelma), Albert J. Slomeana (Rosemarie), David W. Slomeana (Kimberly) and Diane M. Hammonds (John). Charles was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was also the caring uncle of many nieces and nephews and a faithful cousin and friend to many.
