Cheryl Ann Scout

Cheryl Ann Scout, age 73, of Limerick, PA, formerly of Wayne, PA, passed away on October 17, 2023.

Born in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Augustus Coleman and Ruth (née Klein) Scout.

Cheryl was the loving mother of Michele White (Brian), Frank Seal (Jen), Kirsten Johnson (Ed), and Andrew Seal.  She was the caring grandmother of Edwin “Eddie” Johnson, Karlee Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Molly Seal, Joseph “Joe” Seal, Hannah White, Addison White, and Augustus “Gus” Seal.  She was the dear sister of Mary Schanamann and Kathryn Conaway, and the late Susan Scout. 

Cheryl was a graduate of Camillus Mercy School of Practical Nursing, Class of 1981.  Cheryl worked at Haverford Community Hospital where she earned many commendations and Nurse of the Year twice. After leaving the hospital she enjoyed her time working at the Sisters of Holy Child Convent until her retirement. Cheryl enjoyed collecting antiques, especially Asian art.  Her biggest joy was being a grandmother to her 8 grandchildren and spending time with them.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service, 12:00 PM.  Interment private.
