Christopher Coulter

June 4, 1962 — November 30, 2020

Christopher P. Coulter passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 58 on November 30, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Marie Coulter; his six children, Maura Bernardo, Molly Coulter, Allison Coulter, Shane Coulter, Luke C. Coulter, and Abigail B. Coulter; and two stepchildren, Steven Strupczewski and Justin Strupczewski.

He was born at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Camden, NJ on June 4, 1962 to James R. Coulter and Marie Coulter (Rodden). He grew up on Belmont Ave in Collingswood, NJ with his five brothers and four sisters. As a child, he loved to play stickball, baseball, and soccer with his friends. He attended Paul VI High School and joined the family business, Seaboard Automotive, after graduating.

He was a loving father of six children and instilled in them a love of sports and education. He coached youth soccer and hockey for many years and loved to take family vacations and go fishing on the family boat, Sea Fever.

As an adult, he developed a passion for golf and cycling, and shared this love with his wife, Marie. He was an avid Eagles fan and was thrilled he finally got to see a Superbowl win.

He made friends wherever he went and was an expert salesman, teacher, coach, and mentor. He will be deeply missed by friends and family near and far.

A private funeral service will be conducted with family members. A Celebration of Life ceremony is being planned in June 2021 - when we can safely and properly celebrate Chris.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
