Christopher Charles "Chris" Hart, 66, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on August 17, 2024.
Born in Rancocas Woods, NJ in 1958, he was the son of the late Andrew and Dorothy (nee Beck) Hart. Christopher had 45 years of dedicated service at The Boeing Company. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and enjoyed watching the Little League World Series. Christopher's bucket list included visiting every stadium in the US. He made many, including Yankee, Shea, and Fenway with his 3 boys. Christopher was a volunteer coach for his son's baseball team and Upper Darby football. It was not uncommon to see him running the sidelines moving the chains.
Christopher always had a strong sense of community. He was an Upper Darby Community Outreach Board Member and a member of the Christ Lutheran Church Council. Christopher was on the church's Chicken Festival Committee for 14 years and often donated his time for the Thanksgiving Day Dinner.
Christopher and his wife enjoyed traveling together. In his younger days, he spent many trips with his brother traveling to different train conventions. Most of all Christopher loved spending time with his family, especially his children and his 14 grandchildren. He followed his motto: "Live life on life's terms!"
Christopher was the beloved husband of Nona D. (nee Williams) Hart; loving father of Charles Hart (Denise Mendoza) of Seattle, WA, Christopher Hart (Maria) of Drexel Hill, PA, and Daniel Hart of Philadelphia, PA and step-father of Jason Kleinberg (Colleen) of Johnston, RI, Andrew Kleinberg (Stacy) of Roleville, NC, and Craig Kleinberg (Sarah) of Raleigh, NC; dear brother of Andrew Hart of Bryn Mawr, PA; caring grandfather of Adeline, Maria, Damien, Ariana, Dylan, and Raymond, and step-grandfather of Alyssa, Gavin, Ellie, Carter, Seth, Hannah, Ava, and Isabel.
