Clara L. Hood (nee Spier), 95, of Southampton, PA and formerly of Philadelphia and Darby passed away on November 4, 2013 at Southampton Estates.
Born in 1917, Clara was the daughter of Louise (Mishal) and William R. Spier, both deceased.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin A. Hood; loving mother of the late William C. Hood; dear mother-in-law of Constance Donohue (William); and loving grandmother of two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:00 AM Tuesday, November 12, 2013 and to her Memorial Service 10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000. Interment will be at Fernwood Cemetery, Fernwood, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
