Craig W. Kashner peacefully passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 72.
Craig was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and spent his formative years in Sharon Hill. He attended Sharon Hill High School, where he gained recognition for his passion for javelin and football. Additionally, he enrolled at Marple Trade School, where he discovered his passion for masonry. After graduating, Craig channeled his skills and enthusiasm into entrepreneurship by founding his own company, Kashner Construction. As the proud and successful owner, he distinguished himself as a skilled brick and stone mason, taking great pride in working with his hands and expressing his creativity through his craft.
Outside of work, Craig was the quintessential life of the party. He had a passion for dancing, traveling, and dressing impeccably for any occasion. In his leisure time, he enjoyed visiting the casino, riding motorcycles, as well as engaging in fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
Craig had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him, engaging in conversation not only with friends and loved ones but also with strangers he encountered. His bright blue eyes and infectious energy illuminated every room he entered. He was a truly unique individual whose memory will forever be cherished.
He exemplified resilience, demonstrating unwavering strength and determination throughout his life, particularly during his battle with cancer. His impact on the lives of many was profound, and he will be deeply missed by both family and friends.
He is survived by his two children, Craig Wellington Kashner Jr. and Brittany Ann Kashner; his siblings Candis Kashner, William (Patricia) Kashner, Keith (Jane) Kashner, and Kimberly Kashner.
Craig Kashner was preceded in death by his loving wife Michelle Patrice Kashner; and his parents. Wellington H. Kashner and Betty Jane Kashner.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:30 AM, November 8th, 2024, at St. Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Burial will be private.
A luncheon for family and friends, following the services, at Teca of Newtown Square, 191 S. Newtown Street Rd, Newtown Square, PA. 19073.
