Curtis Block

Curtis Warren Block, Age 83, of Philadelphia, PA, native and long-time New York City resident, passed away on August 21, 2021.

Graduate of Hofstra University, where he built many friendships on the basketball team that continued to this day. Distinguished career in sports writing and journalism including over 20 years as Vice President, Media Relations with NBC. Loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren and watching Villanova Basketball and Jets Football.

Loving father of Brian Block (Maureen) and Jennifer Carroll (Jeremy); proud grandfather of Allison, Michael, A.J. and Lauren; brother of J. Richard Block (Pat) and Wayne Block (Linda).

Services and interment will be held privately.
