Daniel David Binder, 52, of Exton,PA formerly of East Lansdowne, PA. passed away March 21, 2025. Born March 13, 1973 in Darby, PA at Fitzgerald Mercy hospital, was the youngest of 3 sons to Gerald Shaw Binder and Helen Mary (Napolitano) Binder.
Dan grew up in Delaware County and while attending vocational masonry school in Folcroft, it quickly became apparent he was very gifted with his hands. After high school Dan befriended a local mechanic who became his mentor, which led to his discovery that gas engines were his true passion and labor of love.
It was after this time he acquired the confidence to start his own small engine repair business which he owned and operated for several years in East Lansdowne. He eventually became known as the town mechanic for whom all the locals called for engine repairs.
He loved food, music, movies and most of all, his motorized toys, including RC boats & cars, go - carts, ATVs, dirt bikes & even his dune buggy. His proudest achievement was restoring his father’s 1984 Old Cutlass.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his brother, John J. Binder and partner Shawnda C. Terrell. He was predeceased by brother Gerald Shaw Binder, Jr, grandparents John and Helen Napolitano, grandparents John and Emily Binder.
