Daniel C. Clancy, Jr., age 63, of Yeadon, PA, passed away on March 15, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel C. Sr. and Mary Clancy (nee Earley). He was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and attended Widener University. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was employed as a Marine Machinist Engineer at NAVSEC, the Naval Ship Engineering Center. He worked on advanced land-based Navy Ship Propulsion and Auxiliary systems located at the Philadelphia Naval Base.
Dan loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a very outgoing person and very easy to talk to. He loved to sing and dance (especially to Elvis Presley music). He coached his sons in baseball and was a baseball coach for many years. He was a Co-Captain of the Men of Malvern.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife Joan P. (nee DeLuca), his children Joan M. Bradley (Christopher), Daniel C. III (Angela), William P., Christopher R., Michelle L. and Theresa R. Clancy, his siblings Joan E. (Francis) Kelly, James J. Clancy and 9 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Sr. Loretta Clancy, R.G.S.
