Daniel "Dan" Landis

Daniel “Dan” Landis, age 90, of Broomall, PA, passed away on September 29, 2022 at his home.  Born January 23, 1932, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Menno Landis, Sr. and Anna Mary (née Barkdoll) Landis.

Dan retired in 1987 following a 30 year career in Procurement for the Federal Government.  He enjoyed coaching youth sports teams and playing golf and tennis.  Dan was an avid tennis player who was nationally ranked in his seventies and eighties.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joan (née Lemaster) Landis; three children, Daniel Landis and wife Sherri of Camp Hill, PA, Michael Landis and wife Rhonda of Norfolk, VA, and Donna and David Melograna of Ambler, PA.  Dan also had fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by four siblings, Lois Keefer, Blanche Martin, Robert Landis, and Menno E. Landis.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 11:30 AM, at the Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
