Daniel DiTomaso

Daniel DiTomaso, age 75, of Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2013 surrounded by ones who loved him. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Edvige DiTomaso (nee DiCato). He graduated in '56 from Milton Hershey's School for Boys. Daniel and Carolyn met through her brother, Louis, when Daniel was 17. Then Daniel served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean era. He and Carolyn raised 3 children together and Daniel made his career as a machinist at Stokes. He was known for his love of wine and his relenteless work ethic.



Daniel is survived by his wife of 53 years Carolyn M. DiTomaso (nee Longo), his children Kimberly A. (Joe) Hoguet, Daniel J. (Ann Marie) DiTomaso and Francine L. DiTomaso, and his 6 grandchildren Ashley, Danielle, Alexandra, Nicole, Kevin and Delaney.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, November 19, 2013 7:00-8:00 PM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square (610) 353-6300 and to his Memorial Service following the visitation at 8:00 PM. Celebration of life will be private.
