Daniel Joseph Kelleher

Daniel J. Kelleher, Jr., age 88, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on September 20, 2023. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Catherine (nee Donnelly) and Daniel Joseph Kelleher, Sr.

Daniel was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion. Daniel enjoyed playing golf and softball, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He also sang in the Philadelphia Boys Choir. Daniel earned his Pilot’s license and loved to fly.

Daniel was the beloved husband of the late Carol Ann (nee Bauer) Kelleher; loving father of Karen Aikins, Kathleen Konieczny (Joe), and Kristine Pennese (Sal); adoring grandfather of Matthew Aikins, Timothy Aikins, Melanie Aikins, Kristen Konieczny, Joseph Konieczny, Jr., Andrew Konieczny, Kathryn Konieczny, Declan Pennese, Connor Pennese, and Poppy Pennese; caring brother of Bernice Lanshe and the late Robert, Herb, and Joseph Saldutte.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:00-10:30 AM on Monday, September, 25, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Dorothy Catholic Church, 4910 Township Line Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
