Daniel D. Kenney Jr., affectionately known as Bugseye, a lifetime resident of Clifton Heights, PA died on October 9, 2018 in his bed previously owned by Grover Cleveland.
Born in 1950, he was the son of the late Daniel D. and Mary T. (Kearney) Kenney.
Dan was a 1968 graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School and attended St. Joseph's University where he was a founding member of the Magic Alley Trash Band.
He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed archery, fishing, kayaking and canoeing.
Over the years, Dan became a "collector" and seller of antiques. He was also an accomplished amateur musician and magician who entertained with his guitar and invisible harmonica every time family and friends would get together. The family, especially nieces and nephews, would wait in anticipation for Uncle Bugs to arrive and entertain with his repertoire of sleight of hand magic tricks. In addition, he experimented with cutting edge film making techniques.
Dan was a Fourth degree Knight of the Cardinal Dougherty Assembly of the Knights of Columbus. He worked for a number of years for the US Postal Service and then as a commuter analyst for the Siemens Corporation.
Bugseye is survived by 12 siblings and their spouses, 23 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews.
