Daniel Moore

Daniel E. Moore, 54, of West Chester, formerly of Newtown Square, PA passed away on June 4, 2015. He was diagnosed with lung cancer as a non-smoker, and courageously fought the disease for over a year.



Daniel was the son of Kay (Fay) Moore and the late Edmund Moore, Sr.



Daniel was a 1979 graduate of Marple-Newtown High School. He was the owner/operator of Daniel E. Moore Plumbing and Heating. He had been a member of the Philadelphia Suburban Association of Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors since 1993.



Daniel was the beloved husband of Robin F. (nee Sellers) Moore; loving father of Dr. Daniel E. Moore, Jr. (Kelly O'Brien), Ryan P. Moore and Shannon V. Moore; dear brother of Fay Giacomucci, Lisa Robinson (Larry) and Edmund Moore, Jr. (Amie) and the late Vicky Moore.



Daniel loved his family. His greatest passion in life was spending quality time with his wife and children. Daniel was happily married to Robin for over 28 years. He prided himself in being very active in his children's lives and attending all of their events.



Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 6:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday eve, June 9, 2015 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and 9:00-9:50 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380, immediately followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Gardens, Frazer, PA.
