Daniel Reuben

Daniel B. Reuben, age 74, of Devon, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

A husband, a father, a grandfather, Dan was an eternal optimist; a dreamer of endless possibilities. He had a smile that radiated the warmth of the sun on a clear winter’s day, an energy of a gentle hug, and a wonderful sense of humor that put people at ease.

As a life-long learner, he found comfort in books, newspaper clippings and articles that he was eager to share with those around him. You knew he was thinking of you when one or several would show up in your mailbox.

Like the Pied Piper, animals and plants would fall in line and thrive under his influence. Dan was a skillful gardener that could make a wilting plant flourish, a fixer who never met a household project he could not tackle and a talented bowler. He could only see greatness in his family and friends and would reassure everyone with a “can do” enthusiasm. An expert in all things breakfast and dessert, he knew how to thoroughly enjoy a good start to the day and would do almost anything for chocolate or ice cream.

Daniel was the devoted husband of Valerie Reuben, dear father of Tara L. Reuben (David S. Owens), Dena Reuben, Trevor A. Reuben (Minjie Jiang) & Amilly A. McGee. Loving grandfather of Casen, Emory, Kai and Ari.

Relatives & friends are invited to Daniel’s Memorial Service, 10 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Saint Luke Lutheran Church, 203 N. Valley Forge Road, Devon, PA 19333. Interment private.
