Danny A. McCormick, age 19, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away suddenly on February 11, 2015. Born in Somers Point, NJ, he was the son of Paul McCormick, Sr. and Kathleen McCormick (nee D'Amico).
Danny was a 2010 graduate of St. Laurence School and a 2014 graduate of Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast High School. He was a freshman at Villanova University studying Engineering.
Known as "Dan the Man", he was an Eagle Scout. While at Bonner/Prendie, he was the President of the National Honor Society, a member of the Rugby and Crew teams, and the Community Service Corps. He was the 2014 recipient of the Augustinian Medal at graduation. This award is voted on by the Senior Class. He was also a lifeguard at Aronimink Swim Club. He was a proud "Ginger".
Danny was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin and nephew.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Paul McCormick, Jr., his grandmother Dahl McCormick (nee McGarvey) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Joseph McCormick and his maternal grandparents Anthony and Marie D'Amico (nee Kelly).

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
