David Colgan

David D. Colgan, age 88, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on October 15, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Matthew Francis and Kathryn Colgan (nee Carrigan).



David was a 1948 graduate of St. Thomas More High School.

He was employed as a Vice President for General Bindery Company.

David was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor Colgan (nee Kerr). He is survived by his loving children Patricia McRae (William), Michael (Patricia), William (Diane), Monica Conner (Richard), Teresa Colgan, Sr. Denise Colgan, RSM, Joan Kane (James), Anne Wellman (James) Thomas (Barbara) and Daniel Colgan. He is also survived by his brother Rev. Mr. Frank Colgan (Lorraine), his sisters-in law Elizabeth and Bridget Colgan and his 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, October 18, 2018 6:00-8:00 PM and Friday, October 19, 2018 8:30-9:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA.

Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
