David F. Girard, age 84, of Audubon, PA, formerly of Berwyn, PA, passed away on September 1, 2016. Born in Connellsville, PA, he was the son of the late David F. and Mary Helen Girard (nee Sleighter).
He was a graduate of Connellsville High School and Penn State University. He served in the United States Air Force as a Captain during the Vietnam War era. He was employed in Finance for Verizon for 35 years. He retired in 1989.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Betsy S. Girard (nee Siegler), his loving children Kim H. Girard, Jill S. Girard-Willey (the late Bruce) and David P. Girard (Sharon) and his grandchildren Shannon, Tyler, Molly and Grace.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service Friday, September 9, 2016 11:00 AM Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA. Interment is private.
