David J. Kennedy

David J. Kennedy, 74, of Rosemont, PA, formerly of West Chester and Exton, passed away November 11, 2022.

Born April 12, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late John J. and Lillian M. (née Weed) Kennedy.

Dave graduated from Lansdowne-Aldan High School, Class of 1966.  He was employed as an accountant for Confab and Tyco Healthcare Group in King of Prussia and enjoyed his part time work in the deli department at Acme Markets, for over 28 years.    

Dave was a commander of the Awana boys and girls club as well as a leader in the Boys Scouts and loved camping with friends and family. He enjoyed trips to Florida and to the Jersey shore. He also enjoyed playing golf with his late brother.

Dave was the loving father of Dawn E. Kennedy-Ridgley (Pat); adoring grandfather of Madison L. Ridgley; devoted brother of Barbara White (George); caring uncle of Victoria Basalyga (Michael) and Stephanie Riley-Schafer (Rachel); and dear great-uncle of Charlotte Basalyga. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert B. Kennedy.
