David Kirkner

David A. Kirkner, 73, of Downingtown, PA passed away on December 19, 2019.

Born in Bryn Mawr in 1945, he was the beloved son of Eleanor (nee Bell) and the late Joseph Kirkner.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Drexel University and was a self-employed CPA.

Mr. Kirkner was a former East Brandywine Township Supervisor and a former member of the Downingtown Rotary Club, as well as an active volunteer within the local communities.

He enjoyed traveling to Ocean City, New Jersey and spending time there with his family.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia L. (Stellabott) Kirkner; loving father of Scott Kirkner (Juliane) and Stephanie A. Briggs (Daniel); devoted grandfather of Brendan R. Kirkner, Hailey E. Kirkner, Andrew S. Kirkner, Zoe E. Briggs and Madeline A. Briggs; dear brother of Douglas L. Kirkner (Carol) and Dorothy K. Keisling (Paul).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:00–11:30 AM Friday, December 27, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080, followed by Words of Remembrance at 11:30 AM. Interment Private.
