David D. Needs, age 91, of Upper Darby, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away on April 19, 2016. Born in Saint Nicholas, PA, he was the son of the late David and Olive Needs (nee Richards).
David was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed with the Gerber Baby Food Company in Philadelphia, PA in Sales. He retired in 1987.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie L. Needs (nee Taylor), his children Beverly Nurmela (James), David Needs (Mary Ann), Janice Bendzlowicz (Edward) and Jeffrey Needs (Lisa), his 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother George Needs (Mae).
