David W. Taylor

David. W. Taylor, 59, of Yeadon Pennsylvania, passed away June 10, 2024. He was born on February 17, 1965, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

David was a devoted father, friend, and hard-working individual. After graduating, he pursued a career in automotive and collision repair before transitioning to truck driving.

Inspired by his Uncle Lent, he completed training at Allstate Career Institute and held positions at Scalias, Violti, and eventually the USPS. David's Career at the USPS as a Transportation Operator from 1994 until 2024 was a significant part of his life. He was passionate about advocating for equality and justice in the workplace for himself and his coworkers.

In his personal life, David was known for his outspoken nature, holding others accountable for their actions while demanding respect in return. 

He deeply cared for his daughter, Pier Taylor, and was actively involved in the lives of his four grandchildren.

Aside from work, David enjoyed playing chess, gaming on Xbox, working home repairs for his home and traveling.

A service to honor and remember David will be held on June 22, 2024, at The Donohue Funeral home, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and run through 11:30 AM and the funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. The funeral Home has been instrumental in assisting the family during this difficult time.

David W. Taylor will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all who knew him.
