David Weir, Sr.

David B. Weir, Sr., age 70, a 34 year resident of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on February 3, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late David C. Weir, Jr. and Agnes Weir (nee Egan).
David was a graduate of West Catholic Boys High in Philadelphia and served in the United States Army. He was employed as a Plumber with Local 690 and retired in 1998. After retirement, he was employed with the James E. Dooley Company until his death. He was involved with the 69th Street Athletic Association as a Coach for Basketball and Softball.
He is survived by his wife In Kap Weir (nee So), his children David (Rachel) Weir, Jessica (Michael Wallen) Weir and Stephen (Bridget) Weir and his 5 granddaughters Audrey, Madigan, Kya, Kierstyn and Nessa.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, February 9, 2015 7:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00-10:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor.
