Debra Lynne Shelhamer (nee Langley), age 58, of Mifflinville, PA, formerly of Folsom, PA, passed away on January 25, 2018. Born in Ridley Park, PA, she was the daughter of Thelma Langley (nee Watson) and the late Arthur A. Langley, Jr. Debra was a 1977 graduate of Ridley High School and attended Villanova University, and she was a daycare provider for over 20 years. Debra enjoyed crocheting, cake decorating, biking, walking and jigsaw puzzles. She attended local car shows and enjoyed cruises. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Debra served on many committees and taught Sunday School at the Naval Chapel in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Christ United Methodist Church in Broomall, PA and Mifflinville United Methodist Church, Mifflinville, PA. She served as Vice President of the Northeast Hemi Owners Association (a Mopar Car Club). She enjoyed spending time with her two best friends, Sheila Garrison Desipio and Harriet Carter. In addition to her mother, Debra is survived by her beloved husband, James P. Shelhamer, her loving daughters Tara Jean Scott (Randy) and Kerry Louise Shelhamer, her stepson, James A. Shelhamer, her grandchildren Steven, Kevin and Chris Scott, and her siblings Sharon, Susan, Joyce, Janis and Robert. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, January 31, 2018 9:30-11:00 AM The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA (610) 544-0600 and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
