Dennis J. DeFruscio Sr.

Dennis J. DeFruscio Sr., age 83, of Broomall, PA, passed away August 10, 2024. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Anne (nee Tirmarelli) DeFruscio.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Anita Mary (nee Massimo) DeFruscio; Sons, Dennis J DeFruscio Jr, (fiancé Krissy and son Justin) and Joseph A. DeFruscio (Erica); Sister, JoAnne Bozzelli and her son Joseph Spinelli; Grandchildren, Anthony and Joseph “Joey”; Brother-in-Law Anthony Massimo (Donna) and nieces Christin and Jennifer;

He was a Philadelphia firefighter for 25 years stationed at engine 41, Philadelphia airport and at engine 68(Cuckoo's nest). He also volunteered at Broomall Fire Company as a fire policeman since 2005. Dennis proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Relatives and friends are invited to Dennis’s visitation on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA, followed by his funeral mass at 1:30 PM. Interment private.
