Dennis Patrick "Slats" Slattery

Dennis Patrick “Slats” Slattery, age 68, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on October 1, 2022.   Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Jack Dennis and Mary Catherine Slattery (nee Hanson). 

Dennis received his Bachelor’s Degree from Millersville University.  He had been employed with the United States Postal Service.

He was a self-proclaimed adventure man.  He was an avid fly fisherman, loved Pennsylvania wrestling and traveling to National Parks.   He was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and all Philly sports teams. 

Family and friends were very important to him.  Dennis is survived by his loving sons Michael Slattery (Jessica Matase) and Robert Slattery (Ann Donley).  He was Pop Pop to Kevin Slattery.  Brother of Jane Slattery (John Synk), Patrick Slattery (Heidi Kuehn), Mary Murray (Patrick Murray) and John Slattery (Burlene Caulder).   Also survived by his nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, October 7, 2022 1:30-2:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 2:30 PM.  Interment will be private.
