Diane Conn

Diane (Dee) Conn, age 70, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on September 11, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ralph Emerson Slack and Anna Eleanor Weissinger.

Dee was an avid Philadelphia Phillies baseball fan. She liked spending time with her dog Snowball and she enjoyed family photographs and took great pride in those photos. Dee was happy taking care of different plants, many of which she had for years and years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her sister and friend Ginny.

Dee’s favorite places were her front yard/garden area, home, The Reading Terminal Market where she worked for years, and the city of Philadelphia in which she was born and raised. Dee could be described as loyal, loving, family-oriented, tough, and good-hearted. She loved coffee and tea and was always cold even in the summer.

She was the beloved mother of Dave Conn and James Conn (Megan); loving grandmother of Kayleen, Kirsten, Kory, Kelsey, Nathan; caring great grandmother of Zoey, Andrew, and Leigha; and dear sister of Virginia “Ginny” LaRoche.
