Diane Maholik

Diane Maholik age 49 of Swedesboro NJ passed away peacefully on Oct 3, 2024 with her sister and mother by her side.

Born in Upper Darby PA in 1975 she was the daughter of the late Joseph Maholik and Clare Maholik (nee Delowery).

Preceded in death by her father Joseph Maholik, sister Barbara Armstrong, brother Michael Maholik, and niece Aubrey Armstrong. She is survived by her mother Clare Maholik, sister Pudge Maholik, her husband Frank Zanin, and brother Andrew Maholik, as well as, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Sun Valley High School. She received her associate degree from Delaware County Community College. She graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. She completed Master level courses at St Joseph’s University.

Her teaching career began in the Wallingford/ Swarthmore school district. She then moved to the Swedesboro/Woolwich school district where she has spent the last 20 years teaching special education. She was a dedicated teacher with a generous heart and a caring spirit. She cared deeply for all her students. She was awarded teacher of the year multiple times over her career.

Diane had a deep love for animals especially her dog and 2 cats. In her free time she like to spend time in her garden and lounging by her pool. She loved the outdoors and especially spending time at the beach. Diane will be remembered by all as a kind soul who was loving, caring, and giving. She is forever in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to Diane's visitation on Monday, October 14,2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM followed by her funeral mass at St Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square at 10:30 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Conshohocken, PA.
