Diane L. Wenckebach, of West Chester and Delray Beach, FL, widow of George Bonno Wenckebach, died on Tuesday morning in comfort after an extended illness.
Diane was the devoted daughter of June and Carroll Wille and sister of the late Robin Wille and Nancy Winther (Bob) and the quintessential Auntie of Carrie Staub Vomacka (John), Bryan Winther (Melanie Errico), Kelly Sweeney (Tim), Gwen Wille Morun (Scott) & Cody Wille. Diane was previously married to Gerald McOscar, Esq. of West Chester.
Diane's career took her to Boston, where she led marketing teams and was editor of college books for over 20 years. She and her husband George were members of the Newport Yacht Club, from where they enjoyed summer sailing adventures. They also pursued their passion for world cultures with the Harvard Traveler's Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to remember Diane and her late sister Robin at a Visitation 4:00-6:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2017 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 415 E. Athens Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003 followed by a reception.
