Dianna Brice

Dianna LaSha “Nana” “Baby Girl” Brice, age 21, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away suddenly on April 6, 2021.  Born in Drexel Hill, PA on April 15, 1999, she was the youngest daughter of Gary R. Brice Sr. and Betty Cellini (nee Passarella).

Born with angel eyes, Dianna had the spirit to brighten and lift everyone around her with her smile, laughter, character, and overall being. Her beautiful soul was very loving and she cared above and beyond. She was an "Auntie" to all the children. She loved music and dancing. She enjoyed her family and friends. She was one of the peacemakers of the family.

Dianna had a career as a Caregiver. It began in 2011, as a young kid, caring for her Nanny. Through the years, they built an unbreakable bond. She graduated with a High School Diploma in 2019.  Dianna was supposed to start Phlebotomy classes this month, seeking a career as a Dialysis Technician.

Dianna left behind her greatest gift of all, her son AJ. Her unconditional love for her son and the bond they shared was so powerful. She really lived for her son. She couldn't go an hour without calling to check on him when she stepped out. They took daily Wawa trips together with her Mom as well. She made sure his birthdays and holidays were special.

When Dianna found out she was pregnant, she was so excited. She was hoping to have a girl as AJ was saying he was having a little brother. She  couldn't  wait to find out the gender. She ordered a kit though the mail. The gender reveal was scheduled for April 29th. AJ was right, he was having a little brother.

In addition to her parents, Dianna is survived by her son, Amine "AJ" Sandale Johnson Jr., her siblings Lauren Cellini, Reneé Cellini (Brandon Cooper), Gary Brice Jr., Jeffrey Brice, Unique Smith, and Darius Smith, and her nieces and nephews Kamiyah, Amai, Jahki, Xavier, Ya'Siyah, Damaress, Dyliah (Gigi), Jayden, Samiyah, and Mulan. Also survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, April 15, 2021 2:00-6:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300.

To Celebrate Dianna's Birthday, there will be a Balloon Release 6:30 PM (following the Visitation) at the Observatory Hill Park, 13 St. Laurence Road, Upper Darby, PA. Please bring balloons, colors are purple and turquoise.
