Dolores E. Kane, (nee Murphy), 90, of Downingtown, PA and formerly of West Chester, PA passed away on January 9, 2018.
Born in Reading, PA in 1927, she was the beloved daughter of the late James and Catherine (Byrne) Murphy.
Dolores worked in retail sales in several area stores. She was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed baking cookies. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Dolores was the beloved wife for 65 years of the late John J. Kane; loving mother of Patricia Arnold (James), Michael Kane (Amy), Mary Jo Massicotte (Daniel) and the late Bernadette Kane; adoring grandmother of Patricia Commale (Sam), Kathleen Weinstock (TJ), Sean Kane (Cristin), Michael Massicotte (Jill), Christina Simon (Jeffrey), Elizabeth Ryan (Timothy), Megan Horner (Jeffrey), Emily Peterson (Toren), Christopher Massicotte, Colleen Arnold, Kelly Arnold and 11 great-grandchildren; sister of Kathryn Grosse (the late Anthony) and James Murphy (Elizabeth).
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, January 14, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and after 9:30 AM Monday at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Int. Calvary Cem.
