Dolores A. McCawley (nee Beckle), 90, of West Chester, passed away July 27, 2019.
Born August 19, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Estelle (nee Tagmire) Beckle. She was a 1946 graduate of Notre Dame Moylan.
Dolores was an avid bridge player, playing for three country clubs, she enjoyed tennis, traveling, and spending time with her family.
She was the beloved wife of 68 years of Joseph M. McCawley; devoted mother of Patricia Price (Edward), Lori McGraw (Robert), and Karen McCawley (Blake Doney); loving grandmother of Kristen, Brian, Karis, Jamie, Jonathan, Sheila, Tara, and Fallon; adoring great-grandmother of Adrianna, Jack, Madigan, Brennan, Bo, Maisey, Jack, and Joey; dear sister of Dorothy Guidone; and caring mother in law of Kim M. McCawley. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph M. McCawley, and her sisters: Anne Griffith and Marie Gorman.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, August 2, 2019 at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Ave., Malvern, PA 19355, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Willow Tree Hospice, 616 E. Cypress Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
