Don L. Hays, 94, of West Chester, PA, passed away on May 27, 2019.
Born in Tulsa, OK in 1924, he was the son of the late Roy and Emma (nee Bradshaw) Hays. Don served honorably in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from General Electric in the Missile and Space Division, Mechanical Engineering Department.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Helen (nee DeMatteo) Hays; loving father of Donald Hays (Patricia); caring grandfather of Scott Hays and Donald Hays (Melanie); predeceased by 7 siblings; also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
A private graveside service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178.
