Donald Crawford

Donald S. Crawford, "Huck" age 89, a 61 year resident of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on August 25, 2020.   Born in Drexel Hill, PA, he was the son of the late James Maurice and Dorothy Crawford (nee Goetz).

Donald was employed as a Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office in Drexel Hill, PA.   In 1989, he was also employed in the Upper Darby School District as security at the Senior high School and then transferred to High Park Elementary School retiring after many years.   Donald was a 52 year life member of the Garrettford-Drexel Hill Volunteer Fire Company  joining  on January 1, 1968 . Huck was best know for running the fire company's bowling alley once located in the basement of the firehouse.

Donald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy Crawford (nee Stokes).  He is survived by his sons, Donald M. Crawford and David S. Crawford, both of Drexel Hill, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, August 31, 2020 7:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300.  Interment will be private.

Per CDC Guidelines and the State of Pennsylvania, masks are to be worn when visiting the family and to the Funeral Service and social distancing is to be observed.
