Donald Kane

Donald J. Kane, age 71, of Springfield, PA, passed away on March 5, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Jean (nee Gray) Kane; brother of the late Paul J. Kane, Jr.; brother-in-law of the late Bill Bridegam, Jr.

Don was a graduate of Springfield High School in 1969. He was a longtime parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Don was a loyal employee of the local stores on Woodland Avenue and an avid supporter of the Springfield Police and Fire Department.

Don enjoyed spending time with his family, especially holidays, birthdays, and family reunions. You could see him on his daily walks up to Saxer Avenue or at the Springfield Diner with his best friend, Bill Conroy.

Don is survived by his brother, Ralph Kane (Paula), and his sister, Diane Bridegam, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, March 11, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
