Donald Kochan

Donald P. Kochan, 83, of Rutledge, Pa passed away on May 30, 2017. He was the son of the late Peter S. and Bertha (nee Anderson) Kochan. Don graduated from Eddystone High School and was previously employed by Westinghouse as a manager. He loved to travel, enjoyed history, had coached women's softball, took up photography for a time, did maintenance work for the Borough of Rutledge, helped out in several local churches, was a member of Prospect Lodge #578, was a people person and enjoyed talking to all those he encountered along the way. He was also a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Marine Corp. He was the brother of the late Myrtle E. Halsey and Earl Kochan and is survived by his wife Marie Burlison, niece Marta Diane McGaughey, Carlynn Loretta Barrett, great nieces Carlynn Ann Barrett, Lea Diane Paul, great nephew Stephen Edward McGaughey plus great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Family and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday June 3, 2017 at Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, PA 19070 followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at Latitudes Restaurant 17 S. Morton Ave. Morton, Pa 19070
