Donald E. "Don" Sellers, 78, of West Chester, PA, passed away on May 25, 2019.
Born in Coatesville, PA in 1941, he was the son of the late James Johns and Hazel (nee Brubaker) Sellers. Don was the class president of Ridley Township High School, 1959, and he was connected to his close friends from high school his entire life. He served honorably as a US Army Reservist. Don was an avid hunter of waterfowl in Maryland and Pennsylvania, a fly fisherman of the best streams in Pennsylvania, and he and his wife, Carol, meticulously kept their 2 acre property. His specialty was growing Hybrid-T roses like his father, Jim Sellers. Don was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Dream Mile Fishing Club. He loved his dogs and enjoyed nothing more than being outside and spending time with his family and friends.
Don was the beloved husband of Carol Y. (nee Farber) Sellers; loving father of Donald G. Sellers (Joanne) and Merri Sellers Gardner (Owen Gardner) and step-father of Brandi Nicole Farber; dear brother of Barry Sellers (Crockett), Sanford Moss (Barbara), Ann Moss Burger (Bob), and Sue Sellers Mueller (Steve); caring grandfather of Hazel Gardner, Ryan Sellers, Brett Gardner, Anne Sellers, and Grace Sellers.
