Doreen Pratt

Doreen A. Pratt (nee Cotter), age 83, of West Chester, PA formerly of New York City, NY and Bath, ME, passed away on August 4, 2019. She was the loving daughter of the late Alice Fisk (nee Leeman).

Doreen was a woman of great strength and character. She dedicated her life to her family, her children, and grandchildren. Known affectionately as "cooker" to the children of Hybridge Daycare where she worked for 25 years. She cared for children all over the world through her generosity. Doreen was a patriot who honored our military heroes. She loved gardening and appreciated nature. She took excellent care of her beloved cat Trooper for 13 years. She was quick witted and loved music and dancing.

Doreen was the loving mother of Elizabeth Pratt-Laguna (Joseph), Loretta Pratt Balin (Arthur), and Victoria Pratt Sarrocco (Michael); beloved grandmother of Lauren, Jason, Allison, Benjamin, and Samuel; devoted sister of William Cotter. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Earle Pratt, and her son, Thomas Pratt.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, August 9, 2019 10:00 - 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Homes, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Ohev Shalom Cemetery, Brookhaven, PA.
