Doris Hastings

Doris J. Hastings (nee Canada), age 89, of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 1, 2021.  Born in Upper Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Ann Canada (nee Simpson).

Doris was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.   She had been employed as a Medical Secretary.

Doris loved to shop, frequent restaurants, travel to Sea Isle, NJ, and Lauderdale-by-the Sea in FL and was a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Hastings and her brother, Donald Canada.   She is survived by her loving children Brian J. Hastings (Carol), Gail D. Alessandroni (John, Esq.) and Lynne Hastings Davis (George, M.D.) and her grandchildren Jonathan, Austin, Meredith, Lauren and Erin.  Predeceased by her companion, James F. Finley.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, July 17, 2021 10:00-11:00 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.   Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
