Dorothy E. Armstrong (nee Baumer), 100, of Downingtown, PA and formerly of Audobon, PA and Connecticut passed away on April 22, 2013 at her home.
Born in 1913 in Milton, PA, Dorothy was the daughter of Mary Ellen (Sampsel) and William Hurley Lilley Baumer, both deceased.
She was a 1930 graduate of Milton High School and attended West Chester State Teacher's College, where her focus was on paino and music. She had a great love for opera and classical music, playing Scrabble, Cribbage, doing crossword puzzles and she enjoyed traveling in the USA.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Beverlee Everett of Downingtown. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph W. Armstrong.
