Dorothy Joan Beck (nee Winter), age 84, of Springfield, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on August 25, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Anna M. Winter (nee Morell). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Lillian DiGiovanni and Anna Mae Covaleskie.
Dorothy was a graduate of Notre Dame DeNamur High School on Rittenhouse Square.
She had been employed as an X-ray Technician for Philadelphia General Hospital and also worked as a Medical Records Coordinator at Saunders House in Wynnewood, PA.
She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, quilting and her dog, Daisy.
Dorothy is survived her daughter, Susan Beck, her grandchildren Kelsey Lee Carr and Dylan James Carr, her sisters-in-law Carol Beck and Angel Beck, her niece Theresa Brady,her nephews Stephen Beck, William Covaleskie, Jeffrey Beck, her niece Jennifer Marshall, her nephew Raymond Beck and her great-nieces Stephanie and Nicole.
Services and interment are private.
